Thriving as an Introvert- Solo Coaching Retreat for Women
You walk into rooms and immediately calculate how long you have to stay before you can leave without being rude. You rehearse conversations in your head. You come up with the perfect thing to say three hours after the moment passed. People tell you to just be more confident, like it's a switch you're choosing not to flip. You've spent your whole life being told to speak up more, network better, put yourself out there. The world runs on extrovert rules, and you're exhausted from trying to keep up. You're not shy. You're not broken. You're just wired differently. Somewhere along the way, you started believing that your quieter way of being was a problem to fix instead of a strength to work with. You second-guess yourself. You drain your energy trying to show up the way everyone else does. And you're tired of feeling like you're doing life wrong just because you need more alone time and think before you speak. This four-day private retreat in McMinnville, Oregon is for introverts ready to explore how they work and honor what makes them different. Through one-on-one coaching, Breath Work that helps you access your deeper knowing, and practical tools for protecting your energy, you'll learn to work with your introversion instead of fighting it. You'll discover where your depth, your listening, your careful consideration are actually forms of power. And you'll build real strategies for honoring how you feel in a world that doesn't always understand it.

Itinerary
The world rewards quick answers, loud voices, and constant availability. You're none of those things. And you've spent years wondering if something's wrong with you. McMinnville is in the quiet wine country, where being still doesn't feel strange. You'll stay at a nearby hotel and spend your days working with Sandy and Susan. They start by slowing everything down. Introverts process internally, and most of the world moves too fast for that. Here, there's space to actually think, to feel what you're feeling, to hear yourself beneath all the noise about who you should be. You'll talk about what it's actually like being you. The exhaustion after social events. The way you need time alone to process. The depth of your thinking that others mistake for overthinking. And here's what shifts. Your ability to listen deeply while others talk over each other? That's power. The way you notice what everyone else misses because you're observing instead of performing? That matters. Your need for solitude isn't a weakness. It's how you recharge so you can show up fully when it counts. Sandy and Susan help you see where your introversion is already working for you, and where you've been fighting it because the world told you to. They give you tools for protecting your energy, yes. But more than that, they help you claim your space as an introvert. To stop shrinking. To own that your quieter, more thoughtful way of moving through the world has real value. Breath Work sessions help you access what you know beneath your overactive mind. Some sessions are with both of them, some one-on-one. There will be time to walk the town, sit with a book, or go back to your hotel and recharge. The pacing is up to you. By day three, you're not just setting boundaries. You're recognizing your strengths. The depth you bring. The way you think before you speak and actually mean what you say. The quality of presence you offer when you're not forcing yourself to be someone else. You'll leave with strategies for navigating an extroverted world without losing yourself. But you'll also leave knowing that being an introvert isn't just something to manage. It's something to work with, to lean into, to own. Being different has power when you stop apologising for it. This is a private retreat designed around your needs. The following represents a typical rhythm, but all sessions are adjusted based on what emerges. Day 1 - Arrival and Understanding 4:00 PM - Arrival and settling in 5:00 PM - Welcome session. We'll learn what it's like being you in an extroverted world. What exhausts you. What you're hoping might shift. This will be a light conversation. Together we'll set the intention for our time together. Evening - Rest Day 2 - Finding What's Underneath 9:00 AM - Morning coaching session 12:00 PM - Lunch and rest or take a walk 2:00 PM - Afternoon session with Breath Work 5:00 PM - Free time Evening - Rest and reflect Day 3 - Building Your Tools 9:00 AM - Morning session on boundaries and energy protection 12:00 PM - Lunch and rest 2:00 PM - Afternoon session working with what emerged 5:00 PM - Free time Evening - Rest and integrate Day 4 - Integration 9:00 AM - Integration session on taking this home 12:00 PM - Lunch 1:30 PM - Closing session 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM - Departure

Past Reviews (optional)
Debra G. Review of Coaching to Connection The most meaningful for me from this retreat was that I got deep insight to factors contributing to my actions/non-actions in ~ all my personal relationships and the impact that has on others and ultimately me. The retreat exceeded my expectations on depth and breadth of personal inspection inventory. Then, exceeded my expectations on categorising and prioritising how I move forward in a positive and meaningful way. For other women that also have no experience with counselling/coaching, this coaching retreat is of utmost value to examine and build insight to one's own patterns on navigating relationships and the impact of those patterns. The insight opens the door for positive change and growth. For other women that do have experience with counseling/coaching, I see that this coaching retreat would help sort through what is working vs not-working. It would build upon the useful parts as well as identity and help self-correct the non-useful parts. Susan and Sandy are excellent guides for life coaching and counselling! Besides their experience with the process involved, they clearly adapt to the learning/ingesting style of the person they are working with! I am so grateful to have found them and this retreat! I have come away with profound insight to my own life relationship issues. I deeply needed this at this time in my life. Although I have a huge amount of work to do to enact/speak/engage in personally healthier ways, I am very optimistic that these personal adjustments will be better for me AND the others in my relationships! Thank you!! ♥️
