Sri Shakti Retreat - Sri Lanka
There is a place where the ocean breathes, temples hum with devotion, and the land itself carries the pulse of the Divine Feminine. In this six-day immersion, you are invited into the living current of Sri Shakti; the radiant, intelligent force that creates, sustains, and transforms life. Sri speaks to beauty, splendour, and grace. Shakti is the power that moves all things. Together, they express the union of abundance and embodiment, grace and grounded power, devotion and sovereignty. This retreat is a return to that within you. An immersion into beauty, practice, and presence. Where the nervous system unwinds, the body softens, and something deeper begins to reorganise from within. This is not simply a retreat. It is a reorientation of how you relate to yourself, your energy, and your life. Through the archetypal energies of Lakshmi and Parvati, we explore two essential currents of the feminine path. Lakṣhmi: the embodiment of abundance, beauty, receptivity, and gratitude. Parvati: the embodiment of devotion, steadiness, self-respect, and inner power. Together, they offer a complete path. To soften and to stand. To receive and to remain anchored. To open without losing yourself.

Itinerary
Retreat Itinerary: Day 1 : Arrival | Colombo You arrive into Colombo by mid-afternoon, leaving behind the pace and demands of everyday life. We begin with one night in the city, a gentle threshold into the retreat. Time to land, settle, and allow the body to arrive before anything begins. In the evening, we gather for our opening Ceremony. A quiet space to meet one another, set intention, and begin turning inward. We share a Welcome Dinner together, marking the beginning of the journey in a simple and grounded way. Day 2: Initiation & Transition | Colombo → Mirissa The day begins with practice, a return to the body through breath, movement, and stillness. From here, we visit Aishwarya Lakshmi Amman Kovil, a temple devoted to the goddess of abundance, beauty, and grace. This is our first darsana; a moment to sit in meditation and acquaint ourselves with Lakshmi where the veil is thin. From this place, we travel south to the coastline. As the landscape shifts, so does the rhythm of the retreat. We arrive into our jungle villa in Mirissa, where the days begin to soften. We share lunch & then the afternoon is left open to rest, settle, and arrive fully into the space. Days 3–5: Immersion | Mirissa This is where the retreat unfolds. The days move in a quiet, intentional rhythm, held with structure, yet spacious enough to allow your own process to emerge. Each morning begins with practice: Hatha, Yin, and/or Kriya Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation Throughout the days, experiences are woven in gently: Time in the ocean Moments of rest, reading, naps and integration Nature-based exploration (hike, snorkelling, or ocean immersion) One therapeutic massage treatment We will also gather for deeper work: A Wisdom talk and journaling workshop A Mala Bead Making Workshop, creating a personal thread to carry forward A Japa Initiation into Sri Shakti, offering you a 40-day sadhana to continue beyond the retreat Alongside this, there are the following optional adds on at an extra cost: (Availability & Weather Dependent) Strength, mobility, weight & yoga conditioning sessions Ayurvedic Treatments Snorkelling with the turtles Jewellery Making Workshop Pottery Class Surfing Lesson 1:1 Session with Justine Day 5 : Closing On our final evening, we gather for a Closing Cacao Ceremony. A space to acknowledge what has shifted, to integrate what has been experienced, and to bring the journey into conscious completion. Followed by a Farewell Dinner to celebrate, where you are invited to dress as your own expression of the Goddess. Day 6 : Departure | Mirissa → Colombo We begin the day with a final practice and slow morning. After lunch, we travel back to Colombo. Flights can be booked from 8:00pm onward. A Note on the Experience This retreat is not designed around intensity or constant activity. It is shaped around rhythm. Around what becomes possible when the body softens, when the mind quietens, and when you are no longer moving at the pace you are used to. Through the energies of Lakshmi and Parvati, this is a return to a way of being that is both open and anchored. Soft, without losing your centre. Steady, without becoming rigid. If you feel the resonance, you will recognise it.
