What makes this property lovable!

Spirit Reunions Sanctuary is more than a retreat venue. It is a living prayer, a labor of love, and a space intentionally created to help people remember what truly matters. Nestled on 15 acres bordering the Cherokee National Forest, this sanctuary was born from founder Jennie Byer's extraordinary journey of healing, remembrance, and continued connection with her mother, Kitti, after her transition into Spirit. What began as a deeply personal experience evolved into a calling: to create a space where others could experience greater connection: to themselves, to nature, to their loved ones, and to the unseen dimensions of love that continue beyond physical form. Many guests describe arriving here and immediately feeling something different. - A sense of peace - A sense of being held - A sense that the land itself is alive and participating in their experience Spirit Reunions is intentionally designed as a place where the noise of everyday life quiets, the heart begins to open, and a deeper level of awareness becomes accessible. Whether you interpret that through the lens of spirituality, nature, intuition, healing, or simply presence, there is an unmistakable quality to the experience here. The sanctuary invites guests to slow down, reconnect with what is real, and remember that love does not recognize the boundaries we often place upon it. Here, laughter becomes medicine. Nature becomes teacher. Community becomes family. And moments of synchronicity, insight, healing, and remembrance often arise naturally. For those who feel called to explore connection with loved ones in Spirit, Jennie lovingly shares her experiences, teachings, and perspective that communication beyond physical death is not something extraordinary: it is something deeply natural that many have simply forgotten. At its heart, Spirit Reunions Sanctuary exists to remind us that separation is often an illusion and that life, love, nature, Spirit, and Source are far more interconnected than we have been taught to believe.
