The nearest town is Cēsis (15 min). Bolt and Uber do not operate in Cēsis — arrange taxi in advance. Nearest airport: Riga (1.5 hrs). Grocery shopping recommended before arrival as the house is in a rural area.

Woman, 34 y.o., CMO «I spent 3 days in the King's room. I was especially surprised by how comfortable I felt there. Despite the fact that the interior did not attract me superficially (the aesthetic style of the room isn't quite to my taste, although the room definitely looked solid and royal!). Even after only being in the room for a few minutes, I immediately felt that I didn't want to leave and wanted to spend as much time as possible in it. I only went down to the hall for breakfast and lunch. Whilst in the room, I read, took time to reflect upon a few things and completed some work tasks (which, by the way, were challenging, but I solved them successfully and easily enough!). The feeling of joy never left me when I was in the room, although I suppose I felt it to different degrees during my stay (from quiet delight to loud rapture). Besides this, I had a strong feeling that 'I can do anything I want' as if, for these three days, I had become the queen of this entire realm, all the hills and forest around belonged to me. One particular practice had a significant effect on me by revealing and helping me embrace my innate strengths. It is definitely a royal experience to allow yourself to take a bath during the day surrounded by gold! That luxurious bath was certainly something special for me! For those doing the self-guided retreat in this room, I would highly recommend bringing a few outfits. Whilst there, I wanted to dress up like a real queen, and I regretted a little that I didn't have any 'royal' clothes suitable for the room.»
