What makes this property lovable!

We are situated in de middle of Portugal, in an area that is not very well-known to people (not even to the Portugese people!) It is in the countryside, surrounded by rivers, lakes, forests, beautiful pictoresque chizte villages, but still close enough to cities like Coimbra, Porto, Braga, Figuera da Foz, Lisbon etc. As we are situated on a small hill, we have 1.5 hectares of land, laid out in terraces, with the salt water pool on top. We have lots of fruit trees, an Olive grove and a vegetable garden. Because the land is divided into terraces, you can always find a quiet place to lay down, read a book or just relax in a hammock. We have a biological vegetable garden where we grow our own vegetables, herbs and fruit which we use mostly in the food that we prepare for our guests, nourishing, healthy and delicious. As we are more or less surounded by nature, you have the oportunity to connect with it, and with yourself. Our rooms offer comfort, large skylights with a view of the garden, a shared livingroom with books and boardgames for your relaxation. What parts of the property are accessible to retreat guests?

The whole land is accessible to retreat guests, excluding the vegetable garden. When people express the wish to want to help in the vegetable garden, that is absolutely possible. We have our own livingroom, bedroom and bathroom where we enjoy our private live. These rooms are not accessible to guests.

Times of contact in case of any issues?

If there are issues, people can contact us anytime. We can stay in our quarters as they are separated from the rest of the house. As we have our own entrance, we can go in and out without guests noticing.

Any special instructions for the retreat guests to be aware of?

It is absolutely forbidden to smoke in the house or on our land, this because of the high fire risk (especialy in summertime!)

Other Cancellation Policy (refer this if "Other" is chosen in Cancellation & Refund Policy section)

We request a downpaiment of 10%, the downpaiment is non refundable. If the participant cancels more than 12 weeks before the event they will receive a refund of the money paid, minus the downpaiment. If the participant cancels 6 to 12 weeks before the event, they will receive a refund of 50% of the money paid, minus the downpaiment. 6 weeks before the event; no refund. Refund will be paid within 14 days after cancelling, and only for the amount already paid
