Sacred Travels Peru

Sacred Travels Peru

These 16 days are an initiation in the Spiritual Medicine of the Peruvian Andes. Percy Ccoyo of Coya, Peru has prepared a program to introduce us to Peruvian Andes sacred ceremonies and sites, including of course Machu Picchu, a Wachuma Ceremony, and a four-day experience to a Qero village near Ausangate. Percy was raised on Andean spiritual teachings by his Qheswas (Quechua) grandfathers and it is his greatest joy to guide you through his Land and his deepest wish is to share its Wisdom for the benefit of all beings. Melissa Colman is our english-speaking organiser, and support-provider as desired. Melissa teaches yoga and offers other supports for individual transformation. She lives in Mareeba, Australia.

Food (if applicable)

Food & Nourishment on the Peru Magic Retreat Throughout the Peru Magic Retreat, you will be nourished with fresh, wholefood-based meals crafted to support your physical energy, emotional balance, and spiritual openness. We aim to keep all meals as pure, vibrant, and high-vibration as possible to help your body integrate the depth of this journey. Paucartika Meals Meals at Paucartika are vegetarian, focusing on warm, grounding, plant-based dishes prepared in the traditional Andean style. Fish and chicken dishes are available upon request. Expect colourful vegetables, quinoa, hearty soups, and gentle grains that nourish without overwhelming the system. Pisac Inca Guest House Meals here will be similar in style light, wholesome, and made with intention. Youll enjoy local breads, fresh fruit, eggs or vegan alternatives, vibrant salads, herbal teas, and nourishing plant-based dishes inspired by the region. Local Restaurants & Cultural Food Experiences During our time in Cusco, Pisac, and Aguas Calientes, we will enjoy meals at carefully selected local eateries and restaurants. You will be able to order freely from the menu, giving you a chance to taste Perus flavour-rich cuisine while still honouring your personal preferences or dietary needs. Private Chef in Ausangate Country During our excursion into the Ausangate mountains, we travel with our own private chef, ensuring nourishing meals even in remote locations. These meals are prepared fresh on-site, using local, seasonal ingredients to support energy and grounding at altitude. The Wachuma Ceremony Food Protocol Because Wachuma is a plant energy, we prepare the body by aligning with lighter, plant-based foods. The intention is to gently shift from dense animal energies to more subtle, spacious states so the wisdom and frequencies of the plant can be received fully. This preparation is, supportive, and deeply respected in Andean tradition. Pre-Ceremony Fasting Period Dinner on Day 4: Simple vegetable soup Rice Vegetables No animal products No man-made sugars (including cane sugar) Breakfast on Day 5: Simple herbal tea (no milk, no sugar) Fresh fruit During the Ceremony (Day 5): Water Fruit available for grounding and support Dinner on the evening after the Ceremony: Same as pre-ceremony: soup, rice, vegetables Returning to Normal Eating On Day 6, we gently return to at breakfast. Dietary Requirements If you have any dietary needs that are not met by the current plan, please let us know at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate you throughout the journey.
