GoToRetreats was founded by Kamal Saini, a lifelong devotee of meditation and yoga — born from a vision to share the healing power of retreats with the world.

Our journey began on our 5-acre property by Shasta Lake, in the quiet beauty of Northern California. Breathtaking views, total privacy and a love of hospitality — and hundreds of guests who left glowing reviews.

So we built a home for it
Our retreats there sparked an overwhelming response on social media — and showed us how much organisers needed a supportive community of chefs, photographers, healers and guides. With a background in technology, we built GoToRetreats to unite, support and empower them.

The mountain's people

This mountain has always been home to healers, yoga teachers, guides, sound healers, retreat hosts, musicians, private chefs, stargazers and seekers.

Long before there was a website for it, you were holding space here — in living rooms and meadows, by the lake and around the fire.

We don't want to change a thing about how you do it. We just want the rest of the world to be able to find you.

Who's behind it

Neighbours, not strangers.

GoToRetreats wasn't built somewhere far away and pointed at Mount Shasta. Some of us live here, and the mountain shaped what we made.
