I'm Conceição Pires, founder of Tinctória Natural, a small creative project born in November 2022 in Vimieiro, in the heart of the Alentejo, where I make natural paints and dyes from the plants, earths and barks of this land. My work has two sides that grow together: sharing ancestral knowledge of natural colour and dyeing, and creating moments of free, intuitive painting that help people release stress and find calm. As a trainer with a background in project and event management, I design every experience with care and structure, while leaving plenty of space for slowness, the senses and whatever wants to emerge. For me, the territory is the material, the hands are the method and slowness is intentional, and I believe that as we transform natural materials, we quietly transform ourselves too.
